Therefore, it is important for healthcare providers to help patients implement effective self-management strategies while also maintaining effective communication strategies to complement office visits.

 This application enables patients to:

  • keep track of symptoms

  • improve their education about their condition

  • along with their physicians, monitor whether they are meeting quality standards of care

MyGut provides a way for physicians to communicate with patients, suggest lifestyle changes, optimize treatment, and recommend medical visits when necessary.

What is THE STUDY?

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of MyGut on improving patient outcomes.

We will be looking at:

  • how many patients use the application

  • what type of feedback participants have for the application

  • how patients’ quality of care change over the span of the study
